I finally got my Social Security Number a week later I started first summer intership. I was not interested at all for SSN at the first time but began to realize how important credit is in US society(Can't apply auto loan/financing without good credit...).  I saw many people who gained mileages enough to buy round air plane tickets to South Korea(about 7,500 mileages, equal to $2,000 value).
